Toby currently uses the following equipment provided by the NHS to allow him to experience different positions:
Leckey Mygo Size 2 Standing Frame
Toby uses his standing frame for upto 1 hour a day.
Standing frames are essential for postural development and allow a child who is unable to weight bear the independence of standing. It helps their bones to develop & helps with digestion, circulation & perception of the world from an upright base.
Leckey Comfee Chair
This chair is used mostly for relaxing.
Designed to relieve pressure and ensure maximum comfort the Comfee Seat large contoured memory foam cushion delivers on both counts. Tilt-in-space as standard this enables the user to relax and integrate more easily into social activities with friends and family.
Crewsaver Lifejacket
We privately funded this item. Toby uses the lifejacket for floating either in the bath or in the swimming pool.
Scan Mobility Single Bed with Cot Sides
Toby sleeps in a junior size bed similar to the picture, however Toby's bed has blue padding. The bed can be highered, lowered & profiled via remote control.
